When I hit submit it takes forever to finish. Anymore once the first dot shows in the progression bar I just hit back and it is always posted. Why is it doing this.

Oh...I thought that was my end...I got in the habit of opening another window to make sure it was posted...

Or when I hit submit... I'm not anymore logged in... even without enourmous thinking time (before posting). What's the timeout?
I resolve this by copying text to notepad (when I remember to do that, backupping my every post before I click submit LOL) and log in again... and then paste and post. Usually works.

A related issue is the post count. Mine hasn't gone up for two days and it is somewhat frustrating.

Press submit twice within 30 sec or so and it will immediately go to the page that says "not allowed to post twice..." but your post will be there already :)

The entire site has just been loading slow in general for me! Its really bad right now. I just had to wait while this thread took nearly 3 minutes to load! WTF? It started about a week ago or longer for me, and its been slowly, but gradually getting worse every day! Its like this all over the forum, it doesn't matter what area or thread it is, or if I'm posting or not. What is going on!? Are you guys over your bandwidth or something? Is your web space provider doing server maintenance?

there is also a large increase in double posts i bet as well...remember to just hit submit once. just open another tab, if anyone else says 'open another window' again i will smack you with a firefox book ;), and chances are your post will be up already.

It seems to come and go... I don't know what causes it. Its mostly gone right now, though it is slower than the norm.
