Been folding for the team for 9 days now using all the systems in my sig except the dual200 (not sure if it's worth folding on it). I'm using the windows client on them all except the dual 450 which is running 2 different installs of the console client (running as a scheduled task as suggested in the sticky).

Hopefully at my current speed I should break the 1000 barrier sometime in the next week :D

Hopefully I should be able to add another oced tbred B 1700+ to my farm in a month or 2 once I get the cash together for another mobo and ram.

Anyone got any tips to make my folding more efficient - should I set the clients to only work on folding@home projects or genome@home too for example?

Hi! Welcome to Xtreme!!

Best to set it to folding@home only as it'll provide a much much better points ratio!

Thanks for the tip Gobbo, I actually posted my first few posts recently but they seem to have dissapeared as part of the server weirdness that's been going on for the last week or 2

You can only have 1 copy of the windows systemtray/screensaver version of the client running on each comp and because of the way folding uses idle cpu cycles it will only max out 1 cpu. The solution for dual cpu systems is to install 2 copies of the console version of the client in different dirs and then set both up to run at startup using scheduled tasks - there's a more detailed how to in one of the stickys
