We should see what we can do on this benchmark.

geekbench sucks. the results just don't match up. obviously people are cheating considering the top two on the results browser. it only utilizes 2gb of RAM? wtf?

realstorm looks promising, i haven't tried it yet. but i was just saying geekbench is so inaccurate that it has no place in this forum. its like a joke benchmark.

well, thats what happens when you're reading two threads at once, and you combine them into one thread in your head. :slap:
anyway..... i tested out realstorm on a couple machines and it does look like a nice bench. i'll see if i can get some results early next week.

My desktop with an AthlonXP 2500+ got 1311
Laptop with an Athlon64 3000+ got 1463
i had thought my laptop would score higher than that, oh well

Fract (http://fbench.com)
RightMark (http://cpu.rightmark.org/)
Here are these two, I have a few more at work, but they are proprietary - so, no chance to go in the public domain unless I convince my bosses ;)
