Hi everyone. Im planing on building a conroe system come september and am looking for a little bit of advise on ram. Im planing on getting an E6600 and an nforce 590 board (saying they end up being good of course) and am trying to decide on wether to go with 2gb of ddr2 667 or 2gb of ddr2 800 ram. now im in canada and lots of the canadian retailers seem to have the ram a little overpriced in most cases so im planing on ordering directly from mushkin.

ddr2 667 - http://www.mushkin.com/doc/products/memory_detail.asp?id=276
ddr2 800 -http://www.mushkin.com/doc/products/memory_detail.asp?id=350

so i want to know if the like 90 dollar price difference is worth it or not, keeping in mind i do plan on overcolocking.

thanks for your input

Yes the $90 is worth it. The XP2-6400 uses Micron chips where as the XP2-5300 uses Elpida chips.
