The other ones they had were tremendous for the price. How high can these go?
I've seen a lot of 667 do close to 1k or right around it... my Patriots 1gb x 2 do 920 @2.2 stable. Shame few boards let me V over 2.2-2.3. :(

I was thinking this. Got an E6600 on the way and a P5W DH Deluxe in tow. Anyone knows how it "plays" with this board?
Don't mean to thread jack. I was going to link to these myself. That is a sale price there at newegg.

Not that you guys will believe me, but these were UNDER $200 a while ago. I flipped when they jumped so much in price.

so do you think with a e6600 and a p5w dh-deluxe system, this would also be the best memory? THanks alot!!

I have limited knowledge of the vast ddr2 compatibilty issues with conore boards.
I am to understand now that teamgroup doesn't do all that well with the ds3 ?
The corsair 6400c4 is usually a safe bet for ddr2 1000 cas 5 pwnage.

What about these?

They are the cheaper version - I'm considering getting them.

I will probably get a cheap pair like this, I just cannot decide. There are so many modules out there, and there is no clear choice for sticks to buy like there is with DDR 2 x 1gb.

I went with the corsair I have as it was on the approved list from gigabyte. Glad I did as I went with 429fsb out of the box.

Yup, however on AM2 my results weren't as good. I was able to go slightly over DDR 800 at 2t. :(

I've noticed the pats get hot. Is there any real variance in this? Or do they all get HOT!?

Just feeling them is all. Felt hotter than the average DDR2 stick. I just picked up some TWIN2X2048-6400C4 and they boot at 1.8VDIMM!! I'm on my way to work, but I fell the night will be filled with wondeful clocks!!

Can any one confirm this? If this is the case then I might have to look into some different Memory, or possibly a different MB, although I was pretty set on the DS3 just because of its price.

I just bought the Patriot memory from newegg, I decide to try and save a buck and give it a chance, I also got a ds3/e6400 to go along.

TeamGroup Xtream PC6400 rated 1.8V-1.9V I'm very tempted to getting one but can't find any reviews on it, also Super Talent seems to be good ram w/ lower latencies and about same price w/ G.Skill HZ but lacks of availability
