I'm going to get this one and replace VC-RE Cooler!! anyone have one that already installed please show us some pictures!
Seems like the weight is all on the other side of the cooler. Hope they have a very good mounting mechanism for that cooler or a shimm for the core. Otherwise it would pretty easily crush the core of the nb.

got my HR-05 SLI today :) I will install this weekend and hopefully it will outperform VC-RE big time!

BTW, that is 80mm fan instead 70mm fan (which I don't have)

If you don't mind, would you please give some performance readings, even if they are rough. Perhaps compared to roughly the VC-RE and stock? Thanks :)
are you going to run it with and without a fan? also post lots of pics :D

My stock cooler is not working no more, I'm using VC-RE Cooler right now I will give some performance readings when I have a chance to install it and I will run it with the fan so it also helps to cool PWMIC, my ambient temperature is high around 25C ~ 27C :(

What chipset? NF4?

Yep it would be NF4.
Normally a 60mm fan is attached to it, but a few days ago it 'exploded'. So now a 60mm Delta is on its way.
It's cooling an Intel 955X, and don't mind the X300SE :p: my GF7900GT is dead.

A very nice review can be found here: Madshrimps - Chipset Cooler Roundup (http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=getarticle&articID=473)
But they should have used active cooling with HR-05.
SLI edition looks nice too,
is it 80mm*80mm or still 70mm*70mm?
70mm but you can mod any fan on to it as has been done in this topis with cable ties/zip ties

it comes with zip ties and instruction on how to install fan with zip ties too, HR-05 SLI is still use 70mm but you can install 80mm fan as picture shown above
