Ok, so I've been putting off activating winodws for a while. Today, I saw that I only had 3 days left so I decided wat the hell and I went to get my key. After I entered it said that I had used the key too many times and couldn't anymore. If anyone knows a way to fix this that would be great. However if that is not fixable then I have my dads XP CD and key however this key is not compatible with my disk since mine is sp 0 and his is sp 1a. I have already updated to sp 2 so I cannot just do and upgrade and keep my stuff. So does anyone know a way I can bring all my stuff (games, programs, etc) over without having to reinstall. All help is much appreciated.

You have to manually call them I believe.

yes call them and explain the situation (they'll ask you how many pc's the copy is running on and then give you an activation code)

most likely some indian rep will talk to you (no offence, etc, im just saying it'll be highly likely. that's what i got. also, india is a very popular customer support outlet. you have to be smart to be one of those).
