That's not bad results at all. Looks like you're getting the hang of it.

Have you tried overclocking the radeon yet, or any windows tweaks? Go over to the 3dmark forum (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=79) and see if you can find some useful tweaks, might get ya above 20k:)

Btw, Welcome to Xtreme:D

my barton 2500+ only does 2483 @ vcore 2.09 on my a7n8x, still no burn-in done...

i got only one problem , my a7n8x does a cold boot with this speed , but the speed is stable..

any solution.....??? it doesnot do a cold boot at 2.06v but at that voltage the overclock is only stable at 2.43ghz...

the stepping on the chip is 0306..

pls help me guys , this cold boot is a pain in the ***

Hm, Do u guys think a newer 2500+ will be able to hit 2.6ghz+ with watercooling?

I realy can't deside if i want to go with the barton or 1700+ dlt3c..

Dude 2500+ overclocking is little bit based on luck.....some have hit 3ghz+@ 3dgameman.com....with prometia kind of cooling...

So if u r getting a 1700+ that garantees u a 2.6ghz overclock...i suggest u take that as it is a lot cheeper and a crazy overclocker...but if u want to enjoy the 512cache boost....and u got some extra cash to burn....then get a 2500+...

Well the barton is 46% more expensive. So i will look in to some 0310 or maybe 0312. The thing with the DLT3C is that it don't take alot of voltage. So watercooling barrely makes any differens, thats kinda boring. I would realy like a chip that can hit 2.6-2.7ghz stable to feel satisfied and i probely wouldn't get a so good chip :/

I was trying to make the same decision... barton 2500 or DLT3C 1700. I finally decided to go w/ the 1700. Far as I can tell, the 1700 may clock at least as good, prolly better (in my prommy) than a barton. So given the price difference, it just wasnt worth it going barton yet. Maybe once we get a 1700-type OC'ing stepping in barton cores, I'll pick one up. Right now, I'm just gonna be happy w/ a dirt cheap cpu, and spend the extra cash on some new peripherals (time for a 22" and new klipsch 5.1's.)

Loose the shim on that Raddy. Should give better cotact and better temps.
