Well I recently got a vantec tornado 90mm 119cfm fan. The problem is it doesn't use the regular 3 pin for the mobo. It uses the 4pin molex connector for the power supply. Does anyone know of any fan controllers that I can use for this fan?

I use a vantec controller on my 92mm tornados, it works well.

Yes, I controlled a vantec 80mm 84CFM with this rheobus, that good, no problems...

Sorry to bump an oldish thread...

Does the Sunbeam come with 3pin to 3pin extensions? The sites selling have very poor listings about this...

Are there any options if I don't wanna use a fan controller, such as a small adapter between the fan's molex and the psu molex? The reason is because I don't have a slot at the front for the fan controller.

There are several methods depending on what you want.

If you don't care about adjusting the speed, you can do the old 7V or 5V re-wire trick, or pick up an adaptor from sidewinder.

If you want to be able to adjust the speed, you can pick up a in-line rheostat such as the zalman fanmate.

Just make sure you aren't pulling more Watts than the rheostat can handle.
