I already have some PQI Turbo 667 that I ordered a few weeks ago because it was only $109 for two gigs of it. Now I'm thinking it might not work after reading this thread:

Since the PQI was so cheap, I'm willing to try the workaround by buying a different stick of RAM to boot the system and change the settings....but if that doesn't work, what is some good, cheap RAM that I can use with this system for overclocking and will let the DS3 boot up and post with no problems or workarounds? I don't want to spend much over $150.

I haven't OCed a CPU before, so just to make sure of this: I need RAM that is capable of running at 2X of what the FSB is set at, correct? So with my E6400, some 800 speed ram will accomodate the FSB at 400 X 8 and give me 3.2 ghz?

Yeah, that thread was mostly speculation though, not much info about what people are actually using and having work fine.

Somewhat relevant: That RAM worked perfectly on my P5B-Deluxe... well, had to use one stick, then up vdimm to 2v, then add the other stick. It's good stuff.
