well, completeting all the HW I need to buy I have deicded to go with ddr2 800 because of the pricing:performance. I am still completely stumped though on what pair i should buy. i need some thing that will really compliment an e6300 when OC'ing, but I dont want to over spend if its not neccessary. Ideally I would like to spend around $200 or less.
heres the list of ddr2 800 memory im looking at, any suggestions?:

this is the pair I am considering, just because they have the lowest timing (4-4-4-12) under $220: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231073

Do people actually spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on machines that just crunch for xtremesystems?

The machine will mainly be used for gaming. The MB is gigabyte DS4 w/ a E6400. Im not very current with what chips are in what modules these days memory is the only thing im struggling with trying to find the best chips I can under $225.
This review on newegg is scaring me away from the Gskill sticks now:
Terrible ram..
Pros: Blue....
Cons: Does not work in a Gigabyte-965p-ds3,
Confusion

Can you point me to this? This (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231065) is the lowest price DDR2 HZ I see on Newegg.
Daveb2012: Didn't you already order the team 667? Hows that working for you?

I'm have an E6300 on its way and need ram plus a mobo. I am having a hell of a time pulling the trigger. I keep going back to the Gigabyte DS3 but the newegg reviews are bad and a couple on these forums are having "issues".......

if ur a gamer, the timins dont matter in games, but the frequency does

that is good overclocking memory and, has a 2.2v stock volts so thats good, overclock time :p:
or u can get 2 gb of good, ddr2 667 ram and put the clock to 800mhz without changing the fsb... then overclock from there
most ram can do that... if my value ddr2 533 can, every ram can
