Hi there,

i've got a Corsair matched pair of "ValueSelect VS1GB667D2" ddr2 modules (2 x 1GB) and i'm wondering if it's possible to work out which kind/manufacturer of ic's it uses?

It's PC2-5300 667 mhz, CL5 as far as i know. Each module carries 16 chips, 8 on each side. Attached below is an image of the chips used:

Thanks in advance for any educated guess... :toast:

They are definitely made by Micron, but I don“t know the specific model.

Perhaps try placing a piece of paper on the chip and shading the whole thing with a pencil to see the grooves. Might give an idea on the chip model. =D.

And that special frosted dimple confirms that it's Micron. =D
