My Apologies in advance if this ends up a double post.
some of the posts from the last few days seem to be stuck elsewhere.

Im helping a friend setup a 1700+ tbred b on an MSI KT3 mobo.
All is going well but the board only allows for 1.7vcore. It's just not enough.
Going through the MSI forum at AMDMB I found This (http://www.amdforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=199046&highlight=KT3+Ultra2) thread.
It goes into manipulating vcore by way of connecting the L11 bridges.
By doing so they claim to achieve a 1.8v default voltage with a 1700+tbredB on a KT3.
And refers to CandJacs (http://www.beachlink.com/candjac/TbredDecode0.htm) page as the place where they got the info to do it from.

So I went and had a look at that for a while, and think I have it figured out.

Awesome page there btw Candjac!! Thx for your efforts!!

^stole pic from N8 :)

If it was mine I would give it a go! But it's not. So before I go telling my friend
to try this I wanted to run it past some of you to see if I have it all correct.
Dont want to mess up my friend ya know.

thx in advance

peace

kewl!!
I also have a KT3 ultra and im stuck at 1.7 volts.
Im getting an nforce 2 mobo soon. Anyone know if the nforce 2 (abit nf7 1.2) mobo will let me go upto 2v without modding the cpu?
