I've been perusing around here lately looking for some sticks that will perform really well with the Conroe build i have planned. i've seen a lot of benches and posts from folks and still haven't found the answers i'm seeking and the OCZ fanboyism doesn't help either. OCZ are great sticks but they are not the only sticks. the build is pretty much decided except for the RAM. what i'm looking for as far as answers go:

1) what do the Conroes like; low latency or high bandwidth? i would imagine high bandwidth with so many latency hiding features on the chips...
2) how much difference does density make? these sticks will be used for hardcore overclocking so i need every advantage i can get. if low density really matters then i will buy another kit to use when i'm gaming.

Setup as planned:
Core 2 X6800 or E6600
nVidia 590 SLI mobo (probably DFI when it's released)
2x G80 SLI (upon release)

EDIT: in addition, any specific recommendations are more than welcome. this will be for an extreme cooling solution so heat doesn't matter.

High bandwidth and high speed are more important than tight latencies on C2D and DDR2 in general but obviously tighter latencies always help.

The Density question I'm not sure on as I don't think anyones overly researched it, but some quick searching shows that top line corsair and OCZ that I checked use 64M x 8 Ic's per module and these are the modules that have been getting the high scores. I'm not sure if that's high or low density, but I think most of the top memory are the same density at the moment.
