G965 chipset delayed

For all those of you who like me wait for G965-based motherboard, you will have to wait a little bit more:

"Shipments of Intel's G965 chipset, the integrated graphics flavor of the Core 2-bound P965 Express, have been postponed to mid-August :slapass: , motherboard manufacturers have told DigiTimes. The manufacturers say they expected volume shipments of the G965 on July 27 to coincide with the Core 2 Duo launch, but that a flaw in the chipset's integrated graphics :slap: caused Intel to hold off shipments until a new C-2 stepping that fixes the problem is ready. This new stepping will "likely not be shipped until the middle of August," Intel reportedly told its customers."

I have an Intel DG956RY sitting right here... 965G chipset.

I wasn't really interested in it, due to onboard, etc.

I guess I can test it if there's interest...

Being for number crunching or gaming, overclocking is important for both communities ;) I thought you cared mainly about OC on this forum. Such boards can also be great to media centers (yes media centers requires great CPUs to encode recordings in x264 :D) Also I noticed that there are many number crunchers on this forums since they are folding at home. But maybe they fold the day, and play at night, I don't know.

Note that for number crunchers, onboard graphics is great because 1) money saved because we don't buy graphic cards can be invested in the processor 2) it consumes less power. I already considered buying a good graphics card for matrix operations, nevertheless the time I would have to spend is not worth the benefit.
