Hi

This will be only my second system build and so I would be most grateful for any advice .

The Kit

XP 2600 @ 333hz

NF7-S Rev 1.2

2 x 512 TwinMOSS 3200

SLK 900 Hs

So far I have downloaded .

Latest rev 16 Bios

Latest Mobo drivers

Latest Awdflash utility

I plan to install in this order.

Win XP Pro

SP1

Mobo drivers

Rest of hardware drivers etc.

I have a couple of questions on some points I'm not too sure about.

At what point can I flash the bios. ?

What is the stock multiplier for the XP 2600 @ 333hz ?

I plan to run the Rig at 200 Hz fsb if I can and would be grateful for advice on what Multiplier , timings , voltages etc to set .

You can flash the BIOS first if you want to. Not sure on the multiplier for the 2600 though.

I always wait long enough to at least verify NEW board stability before i flash a bios, a couple hours run time should be quite sufficient... No reason why you can't flash the latest bios immediately, just my preference on the matter.... The 2600+ is 12.5 Here is a paste of the processors general specs....

hmm if your from the US and your going to overclock, head over to excaliberpc and get a 2100+ AIUHB for like half the price... then you can be pretty much garenteed a good overclock

Agreed. I got my 1700+ from there, damn chip hums along quite nicely and the 2100+'s are supposed to be better.
