nice looking stuff, but why so many drives?

you DEFFIENTLY need to set those all up into a single raid0 array.

the transfer speeds would be incredible...... please do it, ive never seen it done before. even if only for a quick test.

Part3, chips are really related to H.d.d.

Chip1, Intel ICH8R .. R means RAID

Chip2, Silicon Image 3132

This is the design that I think is great. ;)
http://kiner-web4.myweb.hinet.net/AB9_PRO/RAID/Mobo/23.JPG
there are 9 internal sata ports and 1 external sata port, and they let me have a chance to use 9 h.d.d. in single system. :D

I can't make all of these drives into a single raid0 array. :(

Because it's impossible to set RAID through 3 different kinds of chips.

NO NAS and No case :nono:

Because I have to give all of the H.d.d. back to seagate, I will not put them into my case. :slap:

probably would even give better results on a decent Sata II controller but this is also very nice
wish i had some of those then my space problem would be solved for a little while
