CPU Temp

I am using a Zalman CNPS7000B cpu fan and i am getting around 49c idle?
I am running a p4 3.0 prescott, my question is do they usually run this temp. Is there a better air cooling unit i could find, i have been hearing that the big typhoon is good but other than that i would like some suggestions. thanks ahead of time.

Thats a high temp for it being idle My 3.4 prescott 650 idles at 36
Try to reseat the cooler and put some AS5 on it. The goop from Zalman is
Garbage,And yes prescotts run Hot.I use a coolermaster hyper L3 for socket775,Does a good job:cool:
