From what i can tell. instead of using heatpipes, it uses tubes filled with water that is pumped around...

Go Go, Power Rangers!

Great idea though. I just hope that pump doesn't die quickly.

As the name suggests Silver Knight, it is supposed to look like a knight's helmet, it doesn't.

lol

It does look ugly and is probably noisy.

Are you putting this cooler on your CPU or your PENIS ?, cause if not latter it dont matter if its ugly if it drops temps and works well :p: .

(Bet a few of you have been with some ugly hoes anyhow)

I hae used a TTBT on my opty 170 oc'ed at 2.9ghz (38/54). I was going to use another TTBT for my next build as the tuniq tower is hard to find but came across this monster. Hell, why not give it a try? My conroe e6600 is coming in a week or two and my aerocool xtremengine3T doesn't have a clear side panel anyways(25mm fan instead on the side). Will let you guys know how temps run as I plan to oc my e6600 to 3.6-3.8ghz (as much as my corsair xms ddr800 ram will oc and still stay at 1:1). Anyone else hear anything other than that thinkcomputer review?

If that case is a TT you can now get them with optional side panel with clear window and a 250mm fan. :)

Wow that thermaltake side case is cool...might have to get one for my thermaltake shark that houses my opty 170...can't wait for my conroe and silver knight trials...though I saw somewhere (madbox.com) in a spanish review that it performed very similar to a noctua nh-u12...

do they have any kind of warranty about replacing your motherboard and stuff gets fried if that clear plastic should ever break lol

someone should buy this it had some pretty wicked temps

if they had made this a 120mm version with a bigger water resivore I can't remember how to spell resivore anyways, would be wicked, someone should complain to evercool about this

Hey Andy,

as soon as I get my conroe e6600 it will be on there, it's in the box and just waiting for the cpu (since you have to mount retention brackets on the back of the mobo).

BTW, why are you running your opty 170 so low? I run mine @ 2.9ghz (aerocool xfire) all the time (1.45vcore, 38 idle, 56 load) 5/6 divider. Is it to stay 1:1 with your ram?
