I have been lurking these boards for quite a while now and want to thank each of you for helping the newbies (like me :) ) :toast:

My E6600 should be shipping from clubit.com on August 7. I still need a motherboard and am leaning toward the p5W DH Deluxe. I have a question regarding the WiFi-AP feature...

Would this feature allow me to set up a wireless connection throughout my (small) house that I could link the wife's laptop to? I am assuming that this would be possible, but don't want to get the board and then find out that it would not be.

I guess that the only "stupid question" is the one that is not asked, huh?

PS - I used the search function - I didn't find anything that addressed this question.

Thanks for your help!

You said it almost yourself. Wifi-AP, AP stands for acces point :D .

But if you had downloaded the manual, you would have seen it for yourself.

Good deal! Guess I could have downloaded the manual - didn't think of it.

Guess that seals the deal for me! I'm getting one!...as soon as Tankguys gets them back in stock...

Thanks!

I have seen that Ben from Tankguys.com posts on here some...

Ben, if you see this, when do you anticipate the P5W DH Deluxe being back in stock? I have seen many positive remarks about Tankguys on this forum and want to purchase from Tankguys if they are back in stock soon...

I also own this board and if I am not mistaken the WiFi can be used as Access Point or as a receiver.
