Hey,

I Wanna know because i'm getting a new rig, AM2 by chance... it'll be powerd by the DFI Infinity NF UltraII-M2 motherboard.

What ram would you go for on this computer?

This: Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4 (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=85025-6)

or this: mushkin eXtreme Performance 2GB (2 x 1GB) moden s/n: 996523 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820146108)

?? I've actualy just orderd the mushkin but its still cancel-able..

Is there anyone here with experience with either one of those RAMs that can give me an opinion over'em..

this is kinda urgent X_X I have to decide in a couple of hours..

Also I won't be able to use RMA option if the ram will not function because of compatability issues [i've heard aLOT of those on the AM2 mobos] so can anyone please reassure me that the mushkin will work flawlessly? [taken that its not physically damaged]

Also if someone had a DOA of one of those models of ram please tell me..

Thanks,

-Jo.

I'd get the Corsair b/c it can do the SLi EPP thing which raises it to 1066mhz, but I believe you need SLi for that.

I won't be using EPP cus the chipset is NF4 not 590

any other opinions?? Anyone with experience with either of the rams?

Last time I checked, the Inifinty used DDR2 667... so get DDR2 667 RAM like this

.... its not the speed that matters...

DDR 800 works on that DFI mobo they just dont specify [I talked to the tech support and they say they tested this mobo with 1066Mhz, 800Mhz and 667Mhz rams]

Its just that im stuck between those two models... can anyone else with abit experience answer please?
