Need some help to control my cpu's from 1 instead of running all over the place changing settings.
I've got the service installed on all PC's, but the problem I'm facing is that when I try to connect to any PC from any PC, it always alerts me that the current user of the PC I'm trying to connect to will have to log off before I can log on. If this happens won't that stop that PC's folding progress?
If not, great. :) But that leads me to my next question, if the user that has F@H running logs off, and I log on remotely, how can I access the F@H client if that user is logged off??
I want to be able to park my butt at one PC, and control all the others' F@H clients without moving! :) I want to be able to start, stop, and change settings with F@H.
(all pc's using xp pro, console F@H, LAN connection.)

HELP!
Seems like a simple program (VNC) but I have no idea what to do with it. :(
To start, I installed the full program on all computers. Is this right so far:
Server = remote PC?
viewer = computer that will connect to the remote PC?
I've RTFM, but it doesn't say "insert A into B" :stick:
When using the viewer, "new connection", and then type the name of the server, but when I setup the server on one PC it never gave me a choice for the name! Only choice for password.
:::::MY BIG FAT DUTCH EDIT:::::
nevermind all the stuff above, all you use is the windows "name" of the computer that is running the server. :rolleyes:

nonono/// try setting the server aka remote pc as then put down the ip.. and if your on a router, forward those ports out if ya want so you can check when your away.. and remember to write down the ip and the port 5800..
then go into http://blah.blah.blah:5800
youll get a screen to type password.. type in and tah dah

Make sure fast user switching is turned on, that way it will keep the process running. When you log off the other machine, make sure your logging into the Same user that's running folding.
I use Winxp's remote connection, for all my rigs in the farm to connect to, and also all my folders at people houses. And one 3000 miles away no problem.
If you have PC anywhere on your computer, I've had problems connecting to people's computers with it on them.
I've tried VNC, no problems and i like it also. Whatever's easier for you.
