Hello,
I've installed yesterday the Windows XP Professional and so my XTX driver,Catalyst etc needed to be reinstalled.I've installed everything from the CD and rebooted the PC.Everything looked ok but after the windows xp loading screen my monitor was turned off..I've entered in safe mode with VGA support in order to see what causes the problem but i could not find anything.I tried to change the resolution from 640x480 to 800x600 and the monitor turned off..Same thing happened when i changed the refresh rate to 60hz or the color quality from 8bit to 32bit.
After these I uninstalled the drivers and the Catalyst and reinstalled it..Nothing..
I downloaded the Catalyst 6.6 but the problem remains..I dont know what to do..All these happened after i changed my motherboard from P5WD2-Pr to G1975X.After i logged in to win xp with the new it couldnt locate the drivers (thats why i installed win xp pro in another partition)
The funny thing is that it seems like the catalyst isnt recognizing the vga card (screenshot: http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/223/pffaj4.jpg ).When i try to open the HydraVision properties it says that there are no installed ATi drivers :S (but: http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/5218/wdmk1.jpg [i dont really know what is this secondary...] )
Is there a solution? :(
