well im in the process of instqalling my l00p into my Case, but ive tested it out of the case, i didn't have any monitering on the water temps, but with no load and 2 x Akasa Ambers the water in the tubing felt hot to the touch :slapass: i don't know whats casuing it, and the only thing it could be is the DDC... but i thought that the heat dump was fairly small.....:fact:

also, ATM, my l00p is going ::::

DDC - (fill-port) - BIX 2 (with 4 ACRyan Backfire fans) - DD TDX A64 - Eddy EK X18/19 - DD Maze 4 A8N - DDC

will a BIX 2 be enough to take the heat dump of a heavily OC'ed 146 and
X-1800 XT or is it worth putting it a BIP 1 in aswell ??

and if anyone wants i'll put up some picceys of my stuff.. :toast:

There are lots of people here that use a BIP for an OC'd dual-core opteron and a graphics card with much lower heat output. Considering their processor heat output is double yours, but your video card has a higher heat output and you have radiator with twice the surface area designed to use higher CFM fans, my opinion is you should be fine.

Uh, move the fillport between the maze4 and the DDC if you keep the rest in order.

i can't, the only place in the loop i can put it is ether between the DDC and BIX 2 or between the BIX 2 and the TDX- im using a much room as possible to plumb the loop ATM

I do hope the t-line/port is *BEFORE* the pump's inlet...

and yes, that rad can take the heat, and no, if you add a bip you most probably (99% probaqblilty) will see 0 temp change.
