Hello everyone. Just bought a used BIP. It doesn't come with any mounting hardware, does anyone know the sizes screws/bolts I need to mount it to the back of my Lian Li PC-7B Plus II w/out radbox? How will i do this? Sorry, I'm a watercooling nub.

Since the holes aren't threaded, you have a few options. Personally I use:

#6-32 x 1.25" machine screws/bolts

1.25" gives me enough room for a nylon washer and an 120x25mm fan, with a little bit left to thread into the BIP.

OK man, thanks :). Are those like fan size screws?

No, they're thinner than standard fan screws. Also, just for my own peace of mind I nip the ends off of the 1-1/4" screws so the points can't make any contact with the radiator fins.

if you use machine bolts instead of machine screws you have a bit more piece of mind. the ends are blunt with no sharp tip :)

OK, so #6-32 x 1.25" BOLTS it is! :D

OK! :D I got twelve #6-32 1-1/4" flat head bolts/nuts sitting here, and a 1" hole saw with pilot bit for a bit of case modding. I think I'm all set, thanks guys!

I use a 6-32 hand tap to tap the holes to accept 6-32 machine screws. Be careful not to hit the rad with the tap or screws as you will puncture the rad.

I made sure the screws didnt have a tip, they're flat on top :D

The rad holes are not threaded.

If they're like fan holes (and having to use a lot of force to get the screw in) then these screws should be fine :)

Get these screws at Mcmaster-Carr. Part No: 90935A155. They are the same screws that adamwinn is using and so am I. They are what you're looking for to mount 25mm fans to the BIP (and they come in black too!). I myself are using them on a MCR220 and they work great.

The rad holes are not threaded.
Yes, rad holes are threaded, how else would you mount them?:fact: .

I'll see if these work before I spend any more money ;)
