Quick Electrical Wiring Question

I'm working on wiring up my CCFLs and have 3 switches.

I want the switches to work independently of one another.

Am I correct in thinking that they can share a ground without a problem but will each need thier own direct path to the 12V power in order to work independently?

have each switch between the inverter and the source on the 12v, and then just connect to ground.
