With changing technology, buying is a btich, there's always something around the corner...
I'm about the buy a Gogabyte D3 mobo with an E6600...after more boards comeo ut (see September/October) I'll most likely upgrade the board....how does that sound? How much money will I lose apporimetely?
Secondly, I was planning on buying an eVGA 7900GT....and upgrading to DX10...now:
•What is evga's step-up, and does it work on the switch from 9 to 10?
•How drastic of a change is Dx10?
•Roughly, what's the cost of the G80?

Edit: And yes I googled a little, couldn't find much information beyond the inquirer (prime news at that ;)) and the evag step-up, wanted a sort of first hand retelling of how it works...
Edit #2: And please tell me G80 will be out within 90 days or so :p That's a really short time for a step-up..
