I emailed them yesterday and got a reply saying the bernz-o-matic propane bottles are 99.9% pure, there are no other gases present except some ethyl mercaptan that give it a rotton egg smell so you can tell something is leaking.

Regular operating pressure is 130psi, failsafe valve releases between 340-480 psi.

I use those and had temperatures very close to the propane PT chart so I figured it must be close. Surely better than BBQ gas.
