I'm about to purchase this monitor, a refurbed one by Dell(its a Sony Trinitron FD). The price is right at $129. The specs seem ok to me. The only thing that I've been wondering is if someone owned it for a while and can say anything about it? I saw some long term personal reviews on it, and quite a few people shared the common experience of: "monitor died on me after (1-4) years".
Even at the low price, I'd hate to get a monitor that has a confirmed history or destiny of dying after a short use.
What do you guys know about it? Or does anyone own this model?
