Hey all,

Right, I've got a Intel bad axe motherboard coming and will be ordering a E6600 very soon but still am not decided on what ram to get.

First of all, I was looking at this G.skill ram...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231065

How does this overclock? Are these the one that come with micron d9 "fatbody" chips?

What other memory should i consider buying. I need something that overclocks the best with good timings and my budget is $250 (for 2gb).

Thanks in advance. :)

btw this is from one of the newegg reviews:

Other Thoughts: P5wdh bios 0602 and conroe E6600 together with this ram, works great. 2.45v can push up to DDR2 1066 4-4-3-4-2. very nice memory. and DDR2 800 4-4-4-12 with only 1.9v.

Is that pretty standard to run overclocked ram near 2.4-2.5 V, it seems like that would be pushing it pretty hard.

@ OV3RCLOCK3R

You just post and never read the forum do you?
Otherwise you probably would notice nearly 20 threads about the RAM for Conroe.. You already have 300+ posts and still dont know how to use forum search. :slapass:

I bet Lestat would help you any time but not with questions like this man.. :stick:

I dont understand why people feel the need to reply just to flame someone. If you were halfway mature you would read the thread, leave without responding, and know not to look here again.

Its not flaming its just an advice.

@OV3RCLOCK3R nothing personal m8 :toast: I just wanted to say that there are a lot of threads about the budget and quality RAM. Even about 10 threads are in this section ;)
