Back on a P5W DH, Denny? How does this one fare compared to your 1st P5W DH? Any sigh of even higher FSB?
Awesome, especially considering only WC and crazy CA temperatures we've getting this weekend! :) Let's wait until it cools down and we might see 4.3GHz maybe :D

SF reached 100F today. Last year I was there for 2 weeks in August and the temps never cracked 70F. Global warming?:p:

Let the board dry out overnight. There may be too much condensation in the socket. The board may come back to life.

Very beautiful!!!
I have ordered an E6700 4M Boxed + ASUS P5W-DH dlx, good to see over 400 fsb without v-mods.:slobber:
2 info:
There's problem with the original bios for the mobo to find the CPU?
Because I don't have a second Intel CPU for flash the new bios.
I have listen about "Recoverybios"?
Can be OK a Silverstone 650W for push the 6700 over 4GHz under Cascade?

most the batch came with 0501 bios and it will not boot your S5 conroe ES for sure
you need another CPU to boot and flash bios

was 100F at my house today, i'm an hour south of SF and 7 minutes from the ocean so it really shouldn't be this hot. Normally July temps are closer to 79F... 100 is ridiculous.
Denny good clocks there on water, hope your board is OK because i want to see some more DICE runs.

Last week it was about 115F in New York City (which is usually 5-10F hotter than the rest of the area b/c of congestion, pollution). Thankfully today it was back to normal at 79F. I hope that hot weather in Cali doesn't travel northwest:p: . I still don't know why people just lay in the sun in the parks, do they want cancer?

Very nice O/C for watercooling !!
I think i'm going for a E6700 as the 9X multi is not helping at all.

Your guys are funny. Its always hot here during the summer. At least its expected and we don't have AC problems ;) Usually I'm cold during the summer and hot during the winter because of people turning up the AC/heater too much.
