Bought an chip con mach 1 a month ago with bad isulation.
I isolated everything with armaflex and replaced the heat plate at the back of the mobo with a piece of armaflex.

I had it running yesterday as a test without an pc and it hit -45.
Today i mounted it on my cpu and i was able to boot but the unit turned my pc of because the evap was warmer than -28, i changed some values without knowing what i was doing.

I changed everything back to the stock setting but this give's a bigger problem.

The unit doesn't cool down fast/low enough. It took me 1 hour to get from +24 to +5 and after 2 hours it was at -7.

So i need some advice what i did wrong.

And what temps should i get with an standard mach 1 r134a gas.

looks like there's a leak and you loose gas.
Think somebody around here could help you repairing and maybe modding it for you.
most common part to have leaks is the suction line - had this myself twice :(

Yes i think that you have leaks. Suction hoses in mach, vapochill are really weak and they aren't braided...

Last week i got one unit, he has leaks in suction hose.

Hmm well that was a real short experience with Phase change :(
( atleast i got a subzero pic from the bios :P )

But i don't know if will seek somebody to fix this, i don't really need a chiller an just bought it for the fun of it (and the price was right).

But thnx for the answer, i will now try to get the chiller of without ripping stuff from the mobo, hear some scarry sealstring storys.

Warm it with the hair drier, and pull the back plate, while you'r pulling back plate cut(be carefull) the seal string between mobo and back plate, when you totaly remove the back plate, grab a big ball of seal string and push it against the mobo seal string, then pull, piece by piece you'll get it more or less easy.

Hmm it wasn't hard at all, it left some stringy mess but nothing more.
I did saw that the seal around the socket wasn't that perfect.
