Ok, my 7900GT started artefacting today  I'm willing to try anything so if anyone has or knows where could I find a matching BIOS, I'd be thankful.
The card was not overclocked (just once for one minute to 600/700 from 550/660) and worked ok for a week but now is totally screwed. I get heavy artefacts (small square areas that flicker) whatever I run.
I tried the voltmod, but as I measured (using the instructions in the 7900GT 512 voltmodding thread: GPU Vcore point - lower right of the six points in square as ground, gives me 1.4 Volts). The resistor is at 2.62 kOhms by default (third down from the thin IC).
I lowered the resistence to 2.4 kOhms and got 1.475V but it didn't help. I tried downclocking with Coolbits and even heavily underclocked, it couldn't pass the coolbits test.
I'd like to try the switching frequency mod so if anyone can point me to a picture which shows the location of this 80kOhm resistor on the 512 MB cards (Palit/Xpertvision/Gainward PCB), I'd be very thankful.
Thanks a lot!
