Last week i got Mach 2 GT for modding. I change condensor, evap, case and regass with r402.

Ah this is a unit from germany I think - it really looked bad and it was totally done.

Amazing work until now - this unit starts a new life :woot:

Nicely done, although not sure if you can still call this a mach2gt mod, new case,evap,condensor. It has become a custombuild :D

Would have been interesting to see how the R402 would perform with the standard case+fans and condensor, I don,t think it would have worked very well.

I've been doing mods to mach units with the stock condensor and fans, and while THIS mod will take full advantage of the gas, it works reasonably well. I wouldn't do it without a desuperheat coil added, and even then you're pushing the condensor and need the fans on the highest speed.

Nice mod LD, tho as said, it's more of a beautiful custom as the only component left is the compressor and *maybe* the suction line if you didn't replace that too ;)

he left the controller in :p: the controller is what makes it a mod, if anything i'd call it a rebuild

And when temp on UEI is -56 (unloaded) LCD shows -28....

Temps Opteron 146 1.72V full load
