Items priced on Singapore prices and based on local availability so no online orders. basically go to shop, buy pc and go. User has a tight budget of SG$1500++.

Ebay Currency Converter (http://pages.ebay.co.uk/services/buyandsell/currencyconverter.html)

8I945GZME-RH + E6600 $705
Hitachi Sata2 80GB hdd $76
Patriot 2*1024mb DDR2 533 $252
Leadtek 7600GT PCIE $298
Benq 1670 16x DVDRW $70
Coolermaster 430w $73
Asus mATX Casing $59
-----------------------------
$1533 with taxes.

The 8I945GZME-RH has a limitation of 800FSB as compare to Conroe 1066FSB, system is used for both gaming + primarily encoding at a budget.

Will there be a big discrepancy with 800FSB vs 1066FSB for the above purposes?

I really would appreciate help with this too.

I'm getting these 2GB G.Skill DDR2 800mhz (http://www.memory-configurator.com/products/description/2Gb_G_Skill_DDR2_PC2_6400_ZX_Series_4_4_4_12_Dual_ Channel_kit/index.html) sticks.

With that being 800mhz, and the Conroe being 1066FSB - would there be a performance hit? Not running at full speeds?

If you look at this post... http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=1593410&postcount=3

I'm getting worried!
