View Full Version : p5w dh and pentium D 930 temps
i am showing that my CPU is 46C and my board is 55C... i this normal? it seems odd to me that the board would be hotter than the cpu... am i wrong? its not over clocked at all by teh way... stock heatsink and fan...

I'm wondering if those damn heatpipe actually work better than simple HS. Temp didn't look so high before they switched to HP.

At stock frequencies passive should be enough .

Same here , Cpu runs at 48~50 on stock cooler , while NB was at 54~56 (stock speeds)
I just removed the metalic "digital home" cover , and placed an old AMD fan over it , now it doesnt go above 40 C
