Help with video card problem!

I just got in the mail my brand new eVGA 7900GT KO 512 MEGS. It has the new not defective ram, and from what everyone was saying, it's amazing. Well, i'm having some problems. Randomly when I'm playing games, the screen will distort amazingly. It breaks up into lines streaking across the screen, and generally if i press alt tab it fixes it self, sometimes i need to do a hard reboot.

This is quite frustrating.... I waited two weeks without a computer to get this, any help me fix it? I have tried both the drivers that came on the CD and the latest nvidia drivers

Also, if i press prt screen while it's glitching, and i manage to go to the desktop without crashing, the image it pastes is a perfect one, no glitch

too much heat? Perhaps it is time to look into better air flow for the case or an aftermarket GPU cooler.

As for your card, I'ts either a heat issue, or its a review model thats unstable, I would contact evga and RMA it.

setup your signature so we can help you quicker.. if you can raise your pcie frequency to 120Mhz and try
to reproduce the problem.
