I've been told DDR2800 ram runs at 400Mhz*2 and the CPU is still @ 200Mhz. This would theoretically mean you need to run the CPU at twice its speed to get 1:1 right?
Do AM2 mainboards provide support to cut back the ram speed by use of a divider or something? I'm thinking of getting a 4600+ (2.4GHz) and I'd like to see it hit about 3GHz but unsure of the way to go about it.
