I am searching a good AM2 mobo, which can overclock well and stable.
Also I heard AM2 boards have problems running some DDR2 dimms, is there still uncomptability issues ot it has been fixed ?
Thanks in advance

I'd say the best board right now is the Asus M2N32-SLI deluxe. There are two versions of the Asus M2N32-SLI deluxe. There is the wireless one that includes 2 PCI slots, and there is a non-wireless one that includes 3 PCI slots, Odd enough yea:confused:.
I'd wait for more AM2 boards to come out. DFI is supposed to come out with a AM2 board this month with the 590 chipset ( I think that's the right chipset).

Most of the 590 will be decent, they also double the price. :P

I love the foxconn. Asus 570/590 is supposedly just as good or better. I'd love to try the AN9 32X. When does that ATI chipset EPoX come out?

That thing is such crap. If you SLI, you can't use any pci-e slots (SLI bridge in the way) or PCI slots, so your stuck on shiz sound.
Screw that board...:slapass:

i like epox, but i like the fanless heatsinks because those fans usually get loud and filled with dust no matter how clean your room is. i'd rather have a passive heatsink and put a 80mm fan on it

I liked the EPox feature "Ghost BIOS"

Then I suggest you look at the EPoX EP-MF4-J, it is a very cool, Passive nForce 4 board.. No SLi or anything but it is a good overclocker and dirt cheap

my k9n platinum is running ddr900 with no hiccups at all, if that tells you anything ;)
my point is that alot of am2 boards are not fully matured yet and some, like the msi, are hit and miss. biostar and foxconn seem to be solid choices, but the msi and asus seems to be hit and miss

Can you use >2.2vdimm and >1.5vcore without issues?

3rd PCI-E + Areca Raid card = the hawtness :)
Seriously the M2N32-SLI Deluxe has a horrible layout otherwise it wouldnt be a bad choice. The 4 pin power location is the worst ever and bad heatsink layout.

ASUS M2N-SLI (nForce570 SLI) here... Drives DDR2 like a dream and keeps my 3200+ happy at 2.9GHz without a problem :) One glitch with restarting (that is tied to vdimm, I suspect) that is not really that bad to live with until new BIOS fixes it. But other than that, awesome board!

I highly doubt its a bios issue, its just poor vreg in the board. You get what you pay for I suppose. :)

ahh, i see. yeah that could be. its too hot to test my rig right now on air in a no a/c house. could be chipset being poorly cooled as well.
