Check out the LH boost from FSB1066. Both tests done at same CPU/VGA clocks, FSB1333 + RAM @ 597 3-4-3-4, FSB1066 + RAM @ 477 3-4-3-4 detected by CPU-Z.

It looks like you also got a new WR run in SPi32M, coolaler  Very impressive :toast:
But you beat kyosen by only 9s with a whooping 560Mhz advantage! Can you still better it? Is your RAM running at DDR2-992 1-3-4-4.0 and CPU at 5160MHz?

EDIT: Although, kyosen's bus is at 1840 vs 1589, so that might play a role as well plus tighter timmings and perhaps different tweaks... Awesome CPU!

first of all congrats.

is the intel board the best board to get for the conroe or are there better boards? seems like the records are being set and broken with the intel one.

Woah cooler.. I'm dazed and confused.. so many questions:
- You barely increased the CPU speed, so what's the magic behind these impressive results?
- Do you use optimal OS for SP1M/SP32M?
- So how many big bottles of LN2 did you use already
- I'm using your SP4M screenshot as my wallpaper. Keep them coming! You should make website where I can get more of these "wallpapers" every week ;)

With the excessive use of overvolting mch, I think we need a better chipset. At very least a die shrink of the i975 to cool it off a bit. But, judging by how high ATI and nVidia chipsets typically overclock, it would be nice to see a Conroe chipset from them.

Anybody know what they are up to?

(I know it sounds ridiculous, but I'm hoping for a air cooled shuttle PC Conroe E6600 in the 3.6-4.0Ghz range)
