Help me out, guys!

My Mastercard and Slave seem to be sharing the same IRQ16 (and other things do, too), and the 3dmark06 score appears to be lower than everyone else's:

Is it normal to have such sharing going on? Is the 3dmark score too low for such a setup?
I've got 805 OC'ed to 3600, and my two 1900XT's are stock.

Crossfire is enabled in CCC. But I'm not even sure it's really on. :(

Also, getting some image corruption and flickering when the dragon flies out of the water and over the ship.

FYI I got 9835 on 3dmark05. Seems kinda low, but I blame it on the crappy CPU and low resolution. :stick:

Another Q: How to reassign the IRQ's to avoid sharing, if that indeed proves to be my problem?

And another question (last one, I promise)

On my setup, I use the port that's directly below MC dongle's port to connect my Slave card to MC.

Like this:

On some setups I see it being connected diagonally, like here:

Does it make any difference at all? Or is that just purely aesthetic's thing?

I am not sure of the positioning of the connectors because I do not have a Crossfire setup now, but I can tell you there is no need to worry about the cards sharing the same IRQ. There are very few devices out there that do not like IRQ sharing because of the way they handle things, but video cards aren't part of them.

Unfortunately, 3dmark06 counts the CPU score as part of the overall score, and your current score reflects your CPU power (or lack of).

You can try using the 6.6 betas, enable AI advanced and run the bench again. That will give you much better numbers.

as of 6.5 official you could use either connector on the slave card. Other drivers previous required the connector directly below. You'll find that reviewers are just following habit form the x850 crossfire IMHO, but I myself also have it connected diagonally.

In regards to the IRQ issues...there isn't one. I have ageia phys-X card sharing IRQ with slave with no issues. the only thing that caused any problems was my audigy ZS.

The sync issue..i dunno whether it's corrupted DX or .net ...uninstall both .net, vid driver, etc, and re-install...should sort out the sync issue. the corruption looks like it's rendering an old frame?
