Its called a desuperheater coil and at one point it really had a point, to remove extra heat before condenser. Now its just a trend but also can be used to remove vibration.

hum I see... but if I use a bigger condenser, the need of the desuperheater coil would be unnecessary, or the use of it is still necessary?

BTW, cant you point me some soldering guides? i've been looking in the forums, but havent find one yet

Tnkx

PS: Sorry if my english sucks, but i'm portuguese :P

Yes, the desuperheater would be uneccessary, but if you did a coil with two loops, it would help stop vibrations, making it quieter.

By soldering I think you mean brazing, as that is what we do on phase change units. For guides on it, go here (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=104454) and scroll down to where it says "Brazing & Connection Guide". Hope this helps. :)

Thanks m8 ;)
I was looking for soldering guides.. LOl but afterall the word was brazing :D

Well, lets see it, and i hope next week i'll post on this forum my prommy that i'm starting to make with Daniel Maia, a friend of mine ;)

How ever a small loop is needed to unload the vibration from the compressor as to not stress the brazed joints or work harden the copper.

Yes, i've noticed that has i was makin the schematics on my head ;)

Lets see if next week the "thing" is made

Thanks for the help

i'd like to know if the squeme its correctly..and how many loops we have to put between condensor and compressor..and his diameter

sorry my bad english...im portuguese too:)

thanks for all..

Scheme looks quiet fine.

About desuperheater coil and loops between compressor and condenser, it really doesn`t matter too much, if you will do 2-3 loops it will be fine, if you do more, it will be fine too...

just make sure you use a proper ac coil rated for the pressures not a radiator, very different things.

Very different style of flow too.
