As it turns out the video card is OK it seems to be the 8rda. That's OK cause another NF7-S will be here tomorrow.

Is the NF7 that much better than the 8RDA or is just a preference thing?

With out mods the difference is night and day.
With mods the Abit is still faster but not by much. THe 8rda's are a pretty good buy for basic systems cause they are stripped compared to the others kinda like the KX7 of the Nforce boards.

Ohh yes i've seen that screen before.
Man that sucks, I just RMA'd a 9700 pro for a customer, He learned about overclocking online somewhere he told me. And just doesnt understand why his screen is so corrupt no even at stock speeds.
How could it hurt anything?? Can you send it back for me?? I Paid a lot for this card the "SHOULD" give me a new one?? I loved when he told me, My framerates were to slow in America's Army if i leave it clocked @ stock. I gave him a P4 rig 2.53, clocked @ 2.8., How slow could it have been??
So you like the ABIT MORE?? Havnt tried it yet, I've always liked epox for AMD's for the crazy stock CPU volt setting, But abit all the way for INTEL.
I've used about 7 8RDA's so far no problems, one in my main rig, one folder, rest in customers rigs, and one here new in box as a backup for when i "blow crap up" I hate waiting.
Just got a new 2100+ today, first "307" i ever got. Wish me luck!!!
I see your Output just keeps going up and up SHAD, they all home Rigs doing the work??

I've generally like abit better than epox during the Via era I never could figure out wpcreset and with out it I couldn't get the bandwidth outta the epox's.
I was testing 2100's (3) looking for another good one. I've got 2 good ones and my luck has been hell since can't get much above 2.4. I rebooted with the last proc installed and whamo garbage screens on post. I tossed the 4600 in the duallie and it was OK so I think it's the board. Since I planned on selling the Epox anywho and had a new NF7 showing up tomorrow I just said the H with it and I'll revisit the 8rda tomorrow.
All the rigs are mine (see mystuff link in sig) some are at work where I can keep an eye on them and some are at home.
