Hi All,

Any of you guys done th insulation for this board yet? have you used die electric grease in teh socket or not? If any one has done it post your pictures I will post mine later today with my conroe in the socket!

No dielectric grease here, just plain ol vaseline. Much cheaper and just as effective, plus I hear you can use it on your lips and cracked skin. :D Used it very generously all over. Inside the socket, all around all the caps and inductors, and a bit in the DIMM slots. Besides that, I made a gasket using Armaflex tape.

Those capacitors are very close to the socket, hopefully by the time i move to conroe people will have finalised the mounting strategy.
