I have an original prometeia. I bought it almost right when it started showing up in the US. I used it for a month or so. Haven't used it since.

Think it still works? I'm going to buy a cpu kit and try it out but I want to know if I have to worry about anything. It's in good condition. Hasn't been kicked at all. Hasn't been moved either. So if I start it up, do I have to worry about it not working? Or do I have to worry about any kind of explosions?

No reason something like that would stop working unless something obvious happened (water damage, physical shock, etc), hell the mini fridge I have in my room is from 1983 and it still runs silently. :)
