when you say 1720 do you mean 860 ?

and thats a crazy ass heatsink fan you got on that card.

which side of the gfx resistor did you solder to which side of the variable resistor? does it even matter?

I will probably be picking up a 7600gt to tide me over to DX10 and I will be volt modding it, unfortunately I am pretty much a volt mod noob.

thanks alot

It don't matter

it does, if the VR is set at say 75k and you solder to the wrong 2 pins (assuming its 100k for example) you'd get 25k resistance.. = b00m..

and you much screw opposite ways for the different pins.. :)

but anyway awesome mod and nice scores

Well, I'm thinking you do know wich legs you are using, cut one of the side ones off, if you are confused.

He was talking about the SMD resistor in the VGA, not the trimmer.

Just lower clocks and not GDDR3 memory ( though some AIB might be doing a special with GDDR3 I guess ).

Yup, Conroe would bring much more power to these babies. I myself will pair my 7600GT with an E6300 at 3GHZ. My new cooler will be here tomorrow :)

Question: is pencil-mod undoable?... i read that one just have to use an eraser.

thanks in advance, sorry for my english.

Thanks Andy :toast:

I have not dared to show yet these results, because they are not final.
While I only consider as final result is single 7600GT in 01Mark. :)

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=9023735

http://img106.imageshack.us/img106/396/screen01m53421qt3.gif

I necessarily shall pass 05Mark on single 7600Gt and we shall look what will turn out. :)

BTW

In 03Mark on single card I have received more 20K but it also not final result ...
The result in 06Mark is received not on these videocards and it is received practically without video OCing

I would like to know if I need a bridge on intel SLI or if just hacked drivers can handle it..

I think that SLi will work without the bridge, but in this case productivity will be less.
