They gave marketing money to advertise. Why pay to advertise a competitors products?

Advertising a product is different from selling it.

that is bussines and competition.NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT.

It's bad trade practice.
I don't know about american legislation nor moral guidelines of trade, but in EU such methods are against good trading practices, thus illegal.

Intel will pay. Again.

well EU can take 1 milion $ per day from MS but cannot charge intel... IMO MS does nothing wrong, it's their OS and noone forces you rto buy it, it's not their fault noone makes user friendly OS

but intel has competition and has been killing it in a VERY ILLEGAL way for so long that noone knows for sure. There are laws against what intel did, it will be the biggest crap of all time if intel gets out of this mess innocent. everyone knows its guilty, even my local dealer used to get special prices if he keeps away from amd 4 years ago...

In Europe you can say "buy my product" but you cant say "buy my product instead of his :banana::banana::banana:ty product" :slapass:

One of the minor reasons why I buy AMD over Intel even though their stuff might be better, dislike low balls, well no balls really.

Intel has no integrity, or, substantially less integrity than AMD. This gives a bad image out for Intel, and this is something they really shouldnt do now that they have a good product.

QFT. AMD would like to be Intel.

BTW, this is a 2 companies problem, not ours. I don't care about their commercial politics. I just like overclocking processors and don't care about these kind of stupid nonsenses.

Now I won't feel bad RMAing a processor I killed during the process of overclocking. :P None of these companies deserves any respect.
