Saw this on vr-zone's barton database. And we all though that the barton wasn't gonna be good! Shame on us! :P

Props to Memesama to hitting this ridiculous speed!

You'd probably need some great cooling and the soothing tones of YATTA! to hit that kind of speed :D

Yatta!!!!

Major props are in order (even if its on LN2.;) )

Guess bartons are starting to like volts at really cold temps. Good news for all the Phasechangers.

Wow, nice VDD if thats Dual Channel. I'd love to see his setup, it looks like a beaut.

LN2 = Liquid Nitrogen Liquid nitrogen gets to oh... -180 Cish so its pretty good for cooling :)

Unfortunately i doubt these guys 3dmark bench. It would be crazy though. Wow i doubt u would even need a very extreme modded 9700 pro to get the #1 spot

That is probably screenshot stable. Thats why no LN2 users are around the ORB but Holicho,Kamu and Macci. And they use phase change occasioannaly.

Don't forget about me. I will be on there soon enough (top 5). I have had a few technical difficulties here. Smoked my board and 9700 pro. Friday looks to be the the tentative date though

If that pic is the highest screenshotable, I would say that it could bench @ 3.15ghz in 3d.... that's just a geuss. Who knows!

That's one mad overclock! It must be the highest speed achieved with an athlon at the same time as it's the highest barton?

Actually, he did make it through superPi in 32 secs. So a bit of stability is there ,-)

yes but SPi was at 3382MHz (http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/3233730401/WS000040.JPG) not at 3464 ;)

Why dont people use liquid helium?

8-)

MCWB
03-05-2003, 12:10 AM
Because it's so fscking expensive! :D We go through ~150 L of liquid helium per month, and it costs us like US$15 per litre! Liquid nitrogen on the other hand is WAY cheap, and easily obtained. :)

Gixer is right, -196ºC is the correct temp but it may vary.

How cheap is LN2 cheap?
