Achieved my goal :) :) :)

E6600ES on Bad Axe Rev 304
CPU cooled by XP90C
CF on watercooling
2x1024 Gskill 6400 HZ (5400 UL arriving :))

CPU @ 427x9 = 3.843 Mhz (424x9 for Nat)
CF @ 760 / 855 (755/846 for Nat)
DDR2 @ 2,2V

Next: cpu cooled by XKimo and mods on the board while 6800 doesn´t arrive :)

Very nice score ojdr.

Let's see what you're going to get with more cooling and the UL sticks.

ojdr2001 IS THE MAN!!!

Doing on a AC chip what manny cant do with one with PhaseChange..

heheh

Keep it going my friend :)

Nice run ojdr, 70k on air was my target too with GTX's. The CF setup seems a little more powerful though (i have higher clocks and just 1K advantage).

Very nice Micutzu. You have a killing nature... :)

What board and RAM did you use?

What cooling on cpu and GPU?

I assume you have used 2x7900gtx2, right?

Micutzu

- Bad Axe
- Teamgroup D9 2X1GB DDR800
- Scythe Ninja on CPU, stock on VGA
- two EVGA 7900GTX in SLI ... very strong cards i must admit, 1.68V/2.28V on GPU/MEM and they clock very very well on plain air.

Running CPU under phase right now, but there are some problems i need to solve. Nature benefits from CPU clock as well :D.

congrats ojdr2001,

the score is just amazing. keep going. now with mb mods and "real" cooling :)

Congrats for the monster score :)
what timmings where you using Ojdr ? with the 5400ul you are going to rase that score by a lot

Might be the Bad Axe bug, when I run 1333 strap and 4:5 divisor I get 1:1 instead of the 4:5 that CPU-Z reads.

Great scores - the "air" bar just keeps getting higher!

Thats a nice score. Your timings are much better and your FSB is much higher too. Timings are big with 01.

very impressive results especially for air

For some reason, I am only seeing 69960 as the highest score on the orb! I think the orb needs to be updated to accept scores as high as 99999 then updated again when someone breaks 100k! If conroe can do 4GHz on air and break 70k with two high end gpus, just imagine what itll do with dry ice for the cpu and gpu! :p:

Dude, the 3dMark 2001 ORB is closed..

Conroe is not yet offically recognised by futuremmark as it has yet to be released - therefore all scores are classed as unofficial - don't shoot the messenger!!

All scores will have to be re-submitted after FM release the ORB to accept CONROE entries.

And yes I believe all support for 3dm01 has been closed by futuremark, which is a real shame.

The orb is not closed except to Conroe. 3dmark 2001 isnt supported but the orb isnt going anywhere. Once Conroe is released, we will see tons of 70k scores :)

And sooner or later 80s will be popping up left and right :P

Sweet results, and air at that, these babies are monsters..

I wouldnt be supprised in the least to see some 80k scores once the orb opens back up and begins to accept Conroes officially. Heck even 90k is likley if my math is right ;)

Hi GF4,

I think you are right ..91 -92k might be tops .

In regards to the ORB I think there is a 70k limit on there at present so all higher scores are not counted until FM take it off. They will not take it off though yet as Conroe is not released. Also the ORB has problemsat the moment submitting results. Lots of zero's all over the place.

It's all looking a bit dodgy at the moment to be honest and I hope they decide not to pull the plug. If so maybe we will just have to do unchecked scores posted here ?

Regards

Andy

if they pull the plug, we can still keep the benchmark alive like we did with am3 :D

anyway, 90k should be do-able :D

not really, look at kinc's run at dreamhack: with nature left they already had 63k. With a decent nature run, they should have been at +-85k. With the future kenthsfield at some decents speeds, 5k is easy ;)

Micutzu
07-09-2006, 03:00 AM
From what i've tested so far, 5Ghz Conroe with 1Ghz/1Ghz GTX's should break 90k and 1000fps Nature. We've seen these clocks already.

massman
07-09-2006, 03:07 AM
1000fps nature equals 30k points. With the other test running at higher speeds, even 100k could be done.

Too bad the people with 1GHz./1GHz. GTX don't bench a 5Ghz. conroe :(

Micutzu
07-09-2006, 03:19 AM
1k fps Nature = 20k marks.
Shamino and Kinc & Crotale already have benched setups good for over 85K.

zakelwe
07-09-2006, 03:39 AM
Sooner or later someone with 1000/1000 card clocks will be putting them with 4.8-5.2Ghz Conroes you have to think. I still think that 100k might be too far though, more likely 90-95k.

lol, what a mistake by me :slapass:

85k has been broken already, but no sign of any screen

1Ghz GTX cores?? are those like uber editions handpicked by nvidia chips?

maverik-sg1
07-09-2006, 04:52 AM
Yes they are 'golden samples' and also:

PCI-E frequency set to 125Mhz, Phase cooling, volt mods and some luck!!!

Phase and LN2 .. Oppainter and K|ngpin respectively.

Not sure how golden the samples are, with those guys it is hard to tell because they always get the best out of the hardware even if it is not cherry picked.

Some luck always applies though ... 1 step forward and 2 steps back has to be the motto of the extreme 3d overclocker. There are so many things to juggle and to have perfectly right.

I cant wait to see what Conroe can really do once the orb's limits are removed. I knew all along that those 60k scores were just a warm up done on air! Isnt it funny the top a64 score is like 60-65k and Conroe is going to be 30k faster?
