Whats is the WR with single 6600GT?

I am currently having a little fun with som 6600GT single card bench on my conroe.

And after a while a became a little courius how to know how much the WR and mayby try to break it.

I've got the highest score with an SLI set here in the 3DMark 03 thread ... but on hwbot.org the highest is sth around 19000 or sth. (I 'only' got ~17500 but this was all done with my old expert/G.Skill value/3000+ @ 2.7Ghz)

basicly your allendale can take out pretty much any A64 score with a half-decent clocking card, or pair of cards. whichever.

Looking at those compared to mine(in sig) i think they're SLI with no LOD. Last time i looked through '01 scores i assumed mine was top, it may not be but have a look anyways.

that's how i came to that conclusion.

everything on the front page and first bit of the second page has a really* high nature and/or says SLI or "gt's" in the description.

That's always been a very good score by Poki, anything near 30k took a fair bit of effort with earlier cpu's. :toast:

It was a great battle when the 6600GT's that is true. Poor old Misteroaster got a bit of a grilling about his scores by me and Randi and others at the start, but hey, they did not seem logical in those days and nobody could explain it. Oh well.

If you have your GT's still Micutzu I would be interested how they go with Conroe.

Yes certanly conroe can make som great scores.

But I think the max for the cards will stop the scores. The only thing that makes better scores with the card is cpu and ram speed.

That CPU and chipset you have is nice. Just looking at lobby hi and car hi shows how strong it is with only 2MB L2. Having those results at 3GHz dangling in my face makes me want a 4MB E66 all the more when they're released.

Sorry i honestly don't recall what my specs were at the time. It was just after i downloaded '06 and most of my time was going into tweaking a PentiumD system for a friend. If i were to guess i would say 640-650 core and 1224 ram while trying different LOD settings. Sorry not much help :(

Should be fixed today so you can post. They think they know what the problem is so should be an easy fix.

Excellent scoring in 2001SE. Your scoring makes me want to get Conroe now as well ..like Poki. Hopefully Conroe can breath some new life into the nvidia G 66XX and 68XX series of cards again and let them reach new heights.
